Cabinetry and countertops
The kitchen design was done by Valori Hunt, who did an amazing job adding many special features including the wood hood, custom legs on the island and floating shelves. Chris Doordan, the interior designer, coordinated the entire project, specifying all product & finishes for every room in the remodel.
The first thing you will notice about the Island is the decorative legs and Delux finish ends. These two features make the island look elegant and in keeping with the rest of the Kitchen. The Island has two large three drawer bases that allow for ample storage and organization. There is an overhang to the island that can fit 3 people comfortably.
We can get floating shelves made to size in the same finish that your kitchen is. This is a very unique and effective design technique that can give the kitchen great dimension and character. The intricate tile goes around the floating shelves to give the entire kitchen a seamless look.
Here we have a wood hood that is built into the wall cabinets. the wood hood attached to the wall cabinets and is very useful when you don’t have enough room for a large stand alone hood or if you don’t want to compromise on the storage space. The hood has much better ventilation for cooking compared to a traditional microhood.
This separate bar area is perfect for entertaining. Plenty of storage and a bump out of the cabinets gives the bar area its own unique feel. The Backsplash is floor to ceiling along the entire length of the kitchen. it is a Carrera marble backsplash with a white grout.
